Seasonal Classes:

Stunt Skills:

  • This is a group stunting class, not a partner stunting class.
  • If there is not an adequate number of Bases to support the class, it will not be held.
  • All-Star, High School, and Junior Cheer athletes are all welcome and encouraged to enroll.
  • Those new to stunting entirely should consider the Cheer Basics class instead.

This is a skill progression focused class geared toward learning and improving proper stunting techniques while working with a variety of other athletes in a non-team specific setting.

Bases: Focus on proper grips, leverage, body positioning, and coordination with other members of group

Flyers: Focus on flexibility, proper body positioning, maintaining tight core and center of gravity throughout the stunt

While Every effort will be made to give athletes focused time at their familiar stunt group positions, all members of the class should come prepared with a flexible attitude and a willingness to try alternate stunt group positions as dictated by the overall makeup of the class. Knowing how to perform stunts from multiple positions ultimately makes athletes better cheerleaders.

Flight School:

THIS IS A NON STUNTING CLASS.
Athletes will learn and develop all the necessary skills to be the best Flyers they can be. Athletes will focus on balance, flexibility, technique, and body positions using a combination of drills on both the floor and through the use of stunt stands.

Cheer Basics:

This class covers the basic skills and concepts involved in all-star cheerleading, including jumps, tumbling, and stunting. Time will also be spent developing overall strength, conditioning, flexibility and fitness.
